On 14 November 2024, Bertus, who played a pivotal role in establishing the project’s initial CTO team, transitioned leadership responsibilities to a core group consisting of Guthix, Elbonzys, and Caleb. This new leadership team has been actively handling crucial tasks since August 2024, including treasury management, organizing events, bridging the NikePig Discord and Telegram communities, integrating $NIKEPIG into Danzo Casino, scouting NFT artists, planning trait designs, evaluating CEX listing opportunities, and reviewing numerous partnership proposals daily.

The $NIKEPIG project is rooted in a philosophy of Community Take Over (CTO), where decision making and project direction are guided by the collective voice of its community. This dedicated team now oversees the project's direction, ensuring it remains aligned with the values and goals of the community.

A multisignature wallet with the handle $feedthepig was established as the main $NIKEPIG treasury. The initial team of wallet signers included:
